Residency Requirement
亚洲博彩平台排名 places great value on the contributions a quality residential experience can make to a student’s development. Experience has shown that campus residency during a student’s college career is crucial to personal growth and the refinement of social skills. As a result, the University has implemented a two-year housing requirement. First-year and sophomore students who are not commuting from their permanent residence are guaranteed housing and are required to live on campus.
Vacation Periods
All residence halls are closed during Thanksgiving, winter, spring and Easter break, and students are expected to vacate their residence hall by the specified closing. Only students who submit a request through the Office of Residence Life will be considered for approval to stay on campus during break periods.
Roommate Conflicts
Students who are having difficulties with their roommate(s) are encouraged to first discuss the issue with their roommate(s) directly. If students cannot come to a resolution on their own, Residence Life staff are trained to help mediate these conflicts. Since room changes are not always an available solution, students should always seek out a professional to help navigate through a conflict.
Early Arrivals and Late Departures
Students may be eligible to arrive early and/or depart late if they have an exceptional travel distance to campus or if they are required to return early or stay on campus in order to participate in a University-sanctioned event, sport or activity. Request forms are available in My Housing.

Health and Safety Inspections
Health and safety inspections are designed to ensure that all University and Residence Life policies are being followed. Inspections are conducted by resident advisors and area coordinators twice per semester. Violations relating to fire safety, student code of conduct, health concerns and maintenance issues may be subject to disciplinary action.
